ASPluris Overview

ASPluris is a warehouse scanning solution that integrates with Jiwa Financials to support day-to-day warehouse operations using compatible mobile scanning devices.

The solution allows warehouse users to scan products, quantities, bin locations, and related documents while completing tasks on the warehouse floor. The scanned activity is then recorded against the relevant transactions and inventory records in Jiwa.

ASPluris can help businesses improve warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy by:

  • reducing reliance on printed picking slips and purchase orders

  • reducing manual data entry

  • improving the accuracy of sales order picking and packing

  • improving the accuracy of purchase order receiving

  • recording stock transfers between warehouses and bin locations

  • processing stock adjustments

  • supporting scanner-based stocktakes

  • providing more timely visibility of warehouse stock movements

How ASPluris works with Jiwa

ASPluris works alongside Jiwa to support scanner-based processing of warehouse transactions.

Warehouse users complete the operational task using a supported scanning device, while Jiwa remains the central system for inventory, sales orders, purchase orders, warehouse locations, and related financial information.

Depending on the process, users can scan information such as:

  • product barcodes

  • quantities

  • warehouse and bin locations

  • sales orders

  • purchase orders

  • stock transfer details

This helps ensure that the items and quantities being physically handled in the warehouse match the information recorded in Jiwa.

Warehouse processes

ASPluris can be used to support a range of warehouse processes, including:

Process

Purpose

Sales order picking and packing

Guides users through picking ordered items and confirming the quantities being packed.

Purchase order receiving

Records goods received from suppliers and checks the received items and quantities against the purchase order.

Stock transfers

Records the movement of stock between warehouses or bin locations.

Stock adjustments

Records stock being adjusted into or out of the warehouse.

Stocktakes

Allows stock quantities to be counted and captured using a scanning device.

The available processes and configuration will depend on the ASPluris implementation and the warehouse workflows used by the business.

Benefits of warehouse scanning

Scanner-based processing can reduce errors caused by manually selecting products or entering quantities. It can also give warehouse staff a more structured process for completing picking, receiving, transfer, adjustment, and stocktake tasks.

Because warehouse activity is connected to Jiwa, stock records can be updated as transactions are completed, improving visibility across warehouse, sales, purchasing, and inventory teams.

Planning your ASPluris implementation

ASPluris should be configured to reflect the warehouse structure and processes used by the business.
