Journal Entries

Overview

Journal Entries are used in Jiwa to record General Ledger transactions that are not created through other modules or automated processes. They allow users to enter accounting adjustments, corrections, accruals, reallocations, and other financial postings directly into the General Ledger.

In this section, we cover the key journal entry processes in Jiwa, including creating journal sets, reviewing and copying journals, reversing journal entries, and setting up automatic or recurring journals where required.

This section is intended to help users understand how journal entries are created and managed in Jiwa so that financial adjustments can be recorded accurately and supporting transaction history remains clear for reporting and reconciliation.
