The Jiwa Period End facility if a very simple process. It only applies to Debtors and Creditors and only takes a few minutes to run.
The system ages transactions from current to periods 1, 2, and 3+.
It is clever enough to look at the period dates and to age the transactions appropriately. This means that you don't have to roll the period exactly on the last day of the month. If you roll on the 15 of the month then the system will age last month's transactions to period 1 but leave this month's transactions in the current period (0).
Note: Debtors and Creditors can be classified by how often you want to roll (a Period Type).
